Hard drive errors

A lot of times a graphics card will go bad and you will recognize it from a BSOD. BSOD stands for Blue Screen of Death which means you cannot get past the start into Windows. To fix these problems a lot of times it's a matter of replacing system files with a floppy disk (loaded with MSDOS) or another boot disk. You can even start up into a live version of Ubuntu or another linux distro. Once you're in you can isolate the video card problem by seeing if replacing the system file worked. After that it is probably good to start worrying about BIOS settings or even other components.

I recently had a client who's machine gave me a nvlddmkm.sys error which could not be replaced by dll files so I had to let her know that it was crashed. I gave her a full refund for my time and energy too. It sucks when you have to let computers go and tell clients to start from scratch.

Many people do not know what they are doing when they give over a computer so they just say, "Please fix my problem." That's why it's important to have a few tools by your side and you can run through a systematic way and this way you can run on multiple machines at once.

It's good to have a workspace so you can have multiple computers running Spyware and Virus removal scans at the same time. There are even scripts like Methodical's Script 2.0 which does automatic work for you. This is the fastest way to get things done. I run a company called Santa Clarita Computer Repair.

Many people have no clue how to fix computers and there aren't any good guides on the internet (except they are really hard to find), Blog owners sometimes comment on these types of topics. You can learn by trying to tweak out your own computer. The more you learn the better you will be.. You can install Windows gadgets and other things like Windows shells, windows themes and Windows desktops.

Bloggings news has become the best new thing as sites release up to the second news reports all around the world. Find out what celebrity died that day or find out what's going on in Afghanistan. The blogging hemisphere is crazy, television news has no standing at all anymore compared to the internet.

Bloggers everywhere are sharing in the online debates. Discuss the latest trends, talk on the hottest topics, add your piece of the pie in the comments at the bottom. Make your voice known on the top viewed blog lists online.

Future of the web

Google voice has determined that they would like to eventually replace landlines. They want to take over all existing telephone lines. Their current telephone system works by having you add a telephone number from your local area code and add your mobile and your landline to your Google voice number. This makes it so that when people call you, it calls your mobile phone and you receive a call from your business number. That way you can have two telephone numbers. It is great for online business.

Other companies require you to purchase a phone number like a 1-800- number or a Skype number. Google voice is free, however. This has helped me tremendously in my offline business as I have gotten many phone calls and I can seperate the people who normally call me from the people who are calling me for business. This is excellent for computer repair companies and other hardware companies. My other site.

My favorite online media is Youtube and I wish there was a better way to categorize videos so you can watch what you're really looking for and not get stuck looking for things all the time. Some of my favorite videos are covers.

Aspiring actors

Youtube allows for freedom of expression. Hundreds of thousands of people post their music renditions of cover songs, allowing for the whole internet to comment and watch their work. All it takes is a youtube account, which is free to sign up for. Users can also sign in with their Google accounts.

Google is now no longer for email, but has shopping, calendars, and more..

Social Media

Social media sites like twitter and Facebook allow people to communicate with all their friends by sharing photos, stories, and even playing games together. Facebook, which was recently sent to the big screen by the hit movie, is the leading social media site. Some sites like Digg and Reddit are for sharing news stories, funny photos, and video clips by matters of voting up and down. Thumbs up sends the story to the top, thumbs down sends the story to the bottom. These sites make millions of dollars a year and are some of the most viewed pages on the internet. The funny thing is that the content on these pages are of higher quality than most television shows and news shows. The internet is truly a place to be for multimedia. Hundreds of people are posting videos online. My computer has replaced the television.

Different people use the sites for different reasons--some just like to check up on their friends updates, some like to post their own stories. This was popularized back in the mid 2000's but has fallen wayside. Most people will probably admit "I don't even use facebook anymore." The internet is always changing and with it comes waves of changes. Web 2.0 is when social media became the new trend of communication and being, 2.5 came and now 3.0 is on it's way. YouTube even has ads before every video which makes it almost television like. Car ads and more are displayed for 15-30 seconds. Life on the internet changes like life on earth.

iTunes and Podcasts

With the explosion of the internet one thing that is undeniable is that the amount of media that is available for everyone is outstanding. We have access to millions of audio and video files at the tips of our fingers. The beauty of this is that most of it is free. The best part about iTunes is that you can get a vast number of different podcasts for free with the click of a button. All you do is go to the podcast section and browse for podcasts in what category you want and then you can press Get or even Get All, a button that will download every single podcast for you with one touch. It is pretty amazing what kind of access we have now that the internet is a competitive domain for publishers and creative beings alike.

Blogging also gives readers a way to read as much as they can possibly ingest for free--The internet is home to over 156 million public blogs (as of Feb 2011). That's a lot of reading to do! People can just read as much as they aspire to. Suprisingly a lot of bloggers are well articulated and can write out posts as high quality as most well-written books. The term 'blogger' has become a profession now with people getting paid a full-scale salary for guest blogging and writing on popular websites. Websites like mashable and theonion put out new articles every day and are viewed by hundreds of thousands of visitors a day. You can't mess with the gauge of the internet. There is no longer as much a need for television or newspapers. News anchors are announcing celebrity tweets instead of reporting like they used to.

Websites like Wordpress and Blogger make it super easy to type out a post, as easy as point and click. Users can even install plugins that majorly change the way that browsers view their websites. Plugins like Facebook Lite allow Facebook users to chat on posts, showing their facebook profile pictures instead of having a default avatar. Other plugins like Contact Form 7 allow people to send out emails from precreated forms. Everything is easy to do now. In the past, users needed a basic knowledge of Hypertext Markup Language to create html files with tables, paragraphs, and change fonts and styling in order to make their messages known. The term 'blog' was not even well-known.
